No legalese maze — just what you can expect from us, and what we ask of you, when you order a handmade piece.

Tasbeeh Boutique is a one-person handmade business run by Athea Javed, based in the United Kingdom. When you place an order on this site, your contract is with her. These terms exist so both sides know where they stand — they don’t take away any rights you have as a consumer under UK law.
02
When you place an order you’ll receive an email confirming we’ve received it. The contract is formed when we accept your order by starting to make it. We may decline an order — for example if an item was mispriced, payment fails, or a personalisation request contains something we’re not willing to put on a piece — and if so you’ll be refunded in full.
All payments are processed securely through Shopify’s checkout. Prices are in pounds sterling and include any applicable taxes; delivery costs are shown at checkout before you pay.
03
Your piece is made with the exact name or wording you type at checkout — please double-check spelling before ordering, as we copy it precisely. If we make a mistake, we’ll remake your piece free of charge. If the error was in what you typed, we can’t offer a free remake, though email us and we’ll do our best to help.
We reserve the right to refuse personalisation requests that are offensive, infringe someone else’s rights, or that we consider inappropriate for an item made for remembrance of Allah.
04
Every piece is made to order and dispatched within 72 hours. Delivery estimates shown at checkout are our couriers’ estimates, not guarantees — occasionally the post is slower than we’d like. If your order hasn’t arrived within a reasonable time of the estimate, contact us and we’ll chase it. International customers are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes charged by their country.
05
Because personalised items are made specifically for you, they are exempt from the usual 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. In practice:
06
Every tasbeeh is handmade, and that’s the point — small variations in beads, knotting and finish are part of a handcrafted piece, not defects. Product photos are as accurate as we can make them, but colours can render differently on different screens. Tasbeehs contain small parts and are not toys — children should use them only with supervision.
07
The content of this site — text, photography, and design — belongs to Tasbeeh Boutique and may not be copied for commercial use without permission. Qur’anic verses and hadith texts are reproduced for remembrance and are not claimed as our property. We try to keep the site accurate and available, but we can’t promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.
08
Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law doesn’t allow it — including for fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Beyond what the law requires, our responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid for your order.
09
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by its courts — though we’d much rather sort any problem out over email first. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
If these terms change, the updated version will be posted here with a new “last updated” date. The version in force when you placed your order is the one that applies to it.
